Solid tantalum construction gives high capacitance per unit volume with stable capacitance over temperature, at the cost of being a polar device that must be installed with correct polarity. Equivalent series resistance is 150 m Ohm, ripple current capability is 1 A, leakage current is 7.5 uA and the dissipation factor is 6%.
