The Microchip A3P250-FGG256 is a flash-based field programmable gate array from the ProASIC3 family, offering 250000 system gates and 3000 logic cells in a 256-ball FBGA package. Flash-based FPGAs hold their configuration on-chip, so the device is live at power-up and needs no external configuration memory. The A3P250-FGG256 provides 157 user I/Os, 6144 registers and 4.5kB of RAM, runs at up to 231 megahertz on a 1.425V to 1.575V supply, and draws 3mA. The 17mm square package is surface mount, RoHS compliant and supplied in trays of 90, specified from 0°C to 70°C.
