The Winbond W25Q64JVSSIM is a 64 Mb (8 MB) serial NOR flash memory from the 25Q series, organised as 8M x 8 and supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package. It supports standard SPI as well as Dual SPI and Quad SPI transfer modes for higher read throughput, and operates from a 3.3 V supply. The device is RoHS compliant, lead free, MSL 3 rated, and shipped in tubes of 90 units.

Serial NOR flash at this density is used to hold boot code, firmware images, FPGA bitstreams, and configuration or calibration data in embedded systems. Quad SPI support allows execute-in-place operation so a microcontroller can run code directly from the flash rather than copying it to RAM first. Typical users include designers of IoT and networking devices, motor and power controllers, automotive body electronics, and consumer appliances. The 8-pin SOIC body in tube packaging suits low-to-medium volume assembly and hand rework.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
