The Texas Instruments LMT01DQXR is a two-pin digital temperature sensor that reports temperature as a pulse train on the same pair of wires that supply it. It is specified over a -50°C to 150°C operating range and is housed in a 2-pin WSON package measuring 2mm x 1.7mm x 800µm. The LMT01DQXR removes the need for a separate data line, address pin or analogue signal chain.

Two-wire pulse-output sensors are used where a temperature probe has to sit remote from the controller on cheap twisted pair, since only two conductors are needed and the output is inherently digital and noise-tolerant. Typical placements include motor and transformer winding monitoring, HVAC and cold chain probes, battery pack and power supply thermal sensing, and appliance control. The -50°C to 150°C span covers both refrigeration and hot-spot monitoring without changing sensor type. Buyers are typically industrial control, HVAC and power equipment designers.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
