The Analog Devices ADG1213YRUZ-REEL7 is a quad SPST analog switch with 190 Ohm channel resistance, supplied in a 16-pin TSSOP. It runs either from a single 5V to 16.5V supply or from dual rails of plus and minus 4.5V to 16.5V, and that dual-supply capability is what allows it to pass bipolar analog signals a logic-supply switch would clip. Switching times are 130 ns turn-on and 115 ns turn-off, and the device draws 220 uA operating supply current against a 380 uA maximum, across a -40C to 125C range. Three record notes: the part is marked as containing lead while also showing RoHS compliant, the two power dissipation fields disagree at 150 uW against 3.8 mW, and the Interface field reads 'Parallel', which does not apply to an analog switch.

Dual-supply analog switches route bipolar signals inside precision analog systems: selecting between a live sensor and a calibration reference ahead of an ADC, switching gain-setting resistors and feedback paths in programmable amplifiers, routing channels in automated test equipment and data acquisition front ends, and reconfiguring filter networks under software control. The plus and minus 16.5V rail capability is the real differentiator, because a switch powered from logic rails cannot pass a signal that swings below ground - which rules it out of most instrumentation signal chains regardless of its on-resistance. Four independent SPST channels let a designer build whatever switching topology the circuit needs instead of being locked into a fixed multiplexer arrangement. Typical users are engineers working on industrial instrumentation, medical equipment, automated test systems and precision measurement.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
