The Texas Instruments ISO35TDWR is an isolated full-duplex RS-485 and RS-422 transceiver with an integrated transformer driver, supplied in a 16-pin SOIC package. It signals at up to 1 megabit per second across three channels, with one driver, one receiver, and one transmitter, and runs from a 3V to 3.6V supply at 3.3V nominal. The ISO35TDWR is specified from -40°C to 85°C, uses gold contact plating, and ships in tape and reel. Texas Instruments lists it at Production lifecycle status, and it is RoHS compliant and lead free.
Isolated RS-485 and RS-422 transceivers carry differential serial data between nodes that sit at different ground potentials, and the isolation barrier keeps the resulting ground-loop currents and common-mode transients away from the controller. Full-duplex operation at up to 1 megabit per second suits factory-floor fieldbus links, motor-drive and PLC communication, building automation trunks, and instrumentation networks spanning long cable runs. The integrated transformer driver lets the isolated side be powered from a small external transformer rather than a separate isolated supply module. Buyers are typically industrial automation and process control hardware teams.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
