The TS3USB221ERSER is a Texas Instruments dual-channel 2:1 analog switch and multiplexer designed for USB 2.0 signal routing, supplied in a 10-pin UQFN package. It supports data rates to 480Mbps, presents about 200 milliohms of on-resistance, and operates from a 2.3V to 3.6V supply while drawing only 30uA. An analog switch passes the differential pair transparently in both directions rather than re-timing or re-driving it, so the same device works for host, device and pass-through paths. Texas Instruments lists it at Production/Active lifecycle status, rated -40C to +85C, lead free and RoHS compliant on tape and reel.
USB analog multiplexers are used to share a single USB controller between two physical connectors, to switch a port between host and device roles, or to route a debug/programming USB path away from the production connector on the same board. Common designs include tablets and handhelds with a combined charge-and-data port, docking stations, automotive infotainment head units, test fixtures and industrial gateways. Buyers are consumer and embedded hardware designers, automotive infotainment suppliers, and contract manufacturers sourcing TI interface parts against a released BOM.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
