The Texas Instruments TLK1221RHAR is a Gigabit Ethernet SERDES transceiver in a small 40-pin VQFN package. It supports full-duplex data rates up to 1.3 Gbps and operates from a 2.5 V supply with 113 mA supply current. The device measures 6 mm x 6 mm, is supplied on tape and reel, is RoHS compliant and lead free, and is rated for -40°C to 85°C.
The TLK1221RHAR is used to serialize and deserialize data for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed point-to-point serial links. Typical applications include switches, routers, backplane interconnects, and fiber or copper physical-layer interfaces. Networking hardware designers use it where a compact single-channel SERDES is needed.
