The Analog Devices AD5322ARMZ-REEL7 is a dual 12-bit resistor-string digital-to-analog converter with buffered voltage outputs and a serial SPI-compatible interface. It operates from a single 2.5V to 5.5V supply, dissipates no more than 2.5mW, provides unipolar non-differential outputs, and settles in 8µs with an integral nonlinearity specified at 16LSB. The converter is supplied in a 10-pin MSOP package with tin contact plating on tape and reel. It is RoHS compliant, in production, and rated for -40°C to 105°C operation.

Dual voltage-output DACs are used to generate programmable setpoints, offsets, bias voltages, and control signals under processor command, for example trimming a sensor reference, steering a control loop, or producing waveform levels for an actuator driver. The three-wire serial interface keeps pin count low, which matters when the converter shares a bus with other peripherals on a small microcontroller. Engineers designing industrial process control, portable instruments, communications hardware, and closed-loop calibration circuits use this class of part where two independently programmable analog outputs are needed. Single-supply operation from 2.5V to 5.5V lets it share the same rail as the host logic.
