The TSC2003IPWR is a Texas Instruments 4-wire resistive touch screen controller in a 16-pin TSSOP package, supplied on tape and reel. It integrates a 12-bit converter sampling at 50ksps across three channels, along with direct battery measurement and a temperature sensor, and communicates over I2C. The TSC2003IPWR runs from a 2.5V to 5.25V supply at 254µA operating current and is rated for -40°C to 85°C.
Resistive touch controllers digitise the X and Y voltages from a 4-wire touch panel and report coordinates to a host processor, offloading the analog work from the main MCU. The TSC2003IPWR is used in industrial HMI panels, medical and diagnostic instruments, point-of-sale and handheld terminals, and other equipment where a stylus or gloved finger rules out capacitive sensing. The integrated battery-voltage and temperature channels let a portable design monitor system housekeeping through the same part. Typical buyers are embedded display and HMI designers at industrial, medical and retail equipment OEMs.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
