The LMC6482AIMX/NOPB is a Texas Instruments dual precision CMOS Operational Amplifier with rail-to-rail input and output, supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package. It provides 1.5M Hz of gain bandwidth product, a 1.3V/us slew rate and 30mA of output current per channel, with a 110uV input offset voltage and an exceptionally low 20fA input bias current. The LMC6482AIMX/NOPB operates from a 3V to 15.5V supply drawing 825uA nominal, rated from -40C to 85C.

Rail-to-rail CMOS op amps are used for signal conditioning where the input or output must swing to within millivolts of the supply rails, which is common on single-supply 3.3V and 5V boards with no negative rail. The 20fA input bias current on the LMC6482AIMX/NOPB suits very high impedance sources: pH and gas sensor front ends, photodiode and charge amplifiers, and precision integrators where bias current would otherwise dominate the error budget. Dual-channel packaging is chosen by instrumentation, medical and industrial designers building two-stage or differential signal chains in one footprint.
