The Texas Instruments TPS3701DDCR is a single-channel voltage supervisor and comparator with a 400mV internal threshold reference and 5.5mV of built-in hysteresis. It monitors one voltage rail and drives a single active-low open-drain output rated for 10mA, with a propagation delay of 28.1µs. The device accepts a wide 1.8V to 36V supply while drawing only 8µA nominal and 11µA quiescent current. TPS3701DDCR is supplied in a 6-pin SOT-23 (TSOT-23) package on tape and reel and is rated from -40°C to 125°C.

A voltage supervisor watches a power rail and asserts a reset or fault signal when that rail falls outside its valid window, preventing a processor from executing while it is underpowered. The open-drain output allows several supervisors to be wire-ORed onto one reset line, and the low threshold reference lets an external resistor divider set the actual trip point for any rail. A 36V supply ceiling means the part can sit directly on an unregulated input rail rather than behind a regulator, which is why devices in this class appear in 24V industrial equipment, automotive 12V and 24V electronics, motor drives, and battery-powered instrumentation.
