The Texas Instruments TLV3491AIDBVR is a single nanopower rail-to-rail comparator in a 5-pin SOT-23, drawing 850 nA nominal supply current against a 1.2 uA maximum. It operates from a 1.8V to 5.5V supply with 3 mV input offset voltage, 1 pA input bias current, 74 dB common-mode rejection and 69 dB power-supply rejection, and drives up to 5 mA at its output. Propagation delay is recorded at 13.5 us with a 6 us response time - the expected tradeoff for nanopower operation, since the bias current that would make a comparator fast is precisely what has been removed to reach 850 nA. The device is specified from -40C to 125C with a 150C maximum junction temperature, uses gold contact plating and is RoHS compliant; note the product title is a truncated and misspelled fragment string rather than a product name.

Nanopower comparators are the always-on threshold detectors in battery-powered equipment: undervoltage and battery end-of-life detection, window comparators on sensor outputs, level detection from thermistors, photodiodes and reed switches, and wake-up circuits that must run continuously without shortening battery life. The 1 pA input bias current is what allows very high-impedance sources - megohm dividers, piezo elements and electrochemical sensors - to be sensed without the comparator loading them and shifting the reading. Rail-to-rail input and output means the threshold can sit anywhere within the supply range and the output swings fully to both rails without an external pull-up. Typical users are designers of utility meters, alarm and security sensors, wearables, portable medical monitors and industrial IoT nodes.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
