The ADG1419BRMZ-REEL7 is a single-pole double-throw analog switch from Analog Devices built on the iCMOS process, supplied in an 8-pin MSOP. It has a recorded on-resistance of 2.4 Ohm and 135 MHz bandwidth, operates from dual supplies between 4.5 V and 16.5 V or a single supply from 5 V, and draws no more than 95 uA with 2 mW of power dissipation. A low on-resistance analog switch is specified where the switch itself must not introduce a signal-path error, since any series resistance forms a divider with the following load. Turn-on time is 110 ns and turn-off time 140 ns over a -40 C to 125 C range.

Low on-resistance analog switches are used for signal routing in automatic test equipment, gain and range selection in programmable amplifiers and data acquisition front ends, sample-and-hold and reference multiplexing, audio and video path switching, and relay replacement in instrumentation where mechanical contacts would wear out. The flat on-resistance over signal level is what preserves accuracy in a precision measurement chain. Buyers are test and measurement, medical instrumentation and industrial data-acquisition OEMs. Note that the product title records a 2.1 Ohm on-resistance against the 2.4 Ohm attribute value used here, and the row is listed as RoHS compliant while its attributes also record it as containing lead, so it is not a lead-free device; this ordering variant is not suitable where a lead-free bill of materials is mandated.

Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
