The Analog Devices ADG1206YRUZ-REEL7 is a low-capacitance 16-channel iCMOS multiplexer that selects one of 16 inputs to a single output, with 200 Ohm on-resistance and 280 MHz bandwidth. It runs from dual supplies of 5 V to 16.5 V, including +/-15 V operation, or a single 12 V supply, drawing 260 uA operating and 420 uA nominal supply current with 6.3 mW power dissipation. ADG1206YRUZ-REEL7 comes in a 28-pin TSSOP on tape and reel, rated -40 C to 125 C and RoHS compliant.
A 16-to-1 analog multiplexer lets a single ADC or amplifier chain sample many sensor inputs in sequence, cutting per-channel cost and board area. Low capacitance and low charge injection matter because they limit settling error when the mux switches between channels at speed. Typical applications are data acquisition front ends, automatic test equipment, medical instrumentation, audio and video routing, and relay-replacement signal switching. The +/-15 V capability suits industrial and instrumentation rails that swing beyond logic levels.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
