The Texas Instruments DRV8210DSGR is a brushed DC motor driver built around an integrated H-bridge output stage with an automatic sleep mode for low standby power. It operates from a supply of 1.65V to 11V, delivers up to 1.76A of output current, and supports switching frequencies up to 100k Hz while drawing a nominal 1.4mA of supply current. The device is offered in an 8-pin WSON package measuring 2mm by 2mm with a height of 800µm. It is in production and specified for operation from -40°C to 125°C ambient, with a 150°C maximum junction temperature.

H-bridge drivers of this type are used to control the direction, braking, and speed of small brushed DC motors, as well as to drive solenoids, relays, latching valves, and similar inductive actuators. The low 1.65V minimum supply and integrated auto sleep mode make it well suited to battery-powered and low-standby designs where the motor runs only intermittently. Typical adopters include designers of consumer appliances, printers, smart locks, camera and lens actuation mechanisms, robotics subassemblies, and portable medical devices. The 2mm by 2mm WSON footprint allows the driver to be placed close to the load in space-limited assemblies.
