The DRV8873HPWPRQ1 is an automotive-qualified H-bridge brushed DC motor driver from Texas Instruments with integrated current sensing and feedback. The DRV8873HPWPRQ1 delivers up to 10 A of output current across two outputs from a supply of 4.5 V to 38 V, and switches at 400 k Hz. It is housed in a 24-pin thermally enhanced HTSSOP package and is rated for -40 C to 125 C ambient operation.
H-bridge motor drivers such as the DRV8873HPWPRQ1 drive brushed DC motors bidirectionally and are the standard building block for automotive body-electronics actuators: power windows, sunroofs, seat adjusters, mirrors, latches, pumps and valves. The 10 A output and 38 V supply ceiling cover 12 V and 24 V vehicle rails with headroom for load dump and cold crank margins. Integrated current sensing removes the external shunt and amplifier, letting the ECU detect stall and end-of-travel directly. Automotive Tier 1 suppliers and industrial actuator designers are the primary users.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
