The Texas Instruments LM51571QRTERQ1 is a current-mode switching regulator with a single output that supports boost, flyback and SEPIC topologies. It operates from a 1.5V to 45V supply range, draws a nominal 700µA supply current and supports a maximum duty cycle of 96%. It comes in a 16-pin 3mm x 3mm package with an 800µm height, is rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient with a 150°C maximum junction temperature, and is RoHS compliant.
The LM51571QRTERQ1 is used where a supply must be raised above its input or converted with isolation, for example generating a higher bias rail from a low battery or bus voltage, or building a small flyback converter. Boost, SEPIC and flyback converters like this are common in automotive electronics, LED lighting, industrial sensors and communications equipment, where the wide 1.5V to 45V supply range and 125°C ambient rating suit harsh environments. Power-supply designers use its compact 3mm x 3mm footprint in dense board layouts.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
