The Texas Instruments LM5164DDAR is a synchronous buck (step-down) DC-DC converter that accepts a wide 6 V to 100 V input and delivers up to 1 A of output current. It features ultra-low quiescent current for high light-load efficiency and integrates the power switches. The part comes in an 8-pin HSOIC PowerPAD package.
This wide-input buck converter is used to step down high or noisy bus rails in industrial, automotive, and telecom equipment down to lower point-of-load voltages. Its ultra-low IQ makes it well suited for always-on and battery-backed systems where light-load efficiency matters. The 100 V rating and wide temperature range fit motor drives, HVAC, metering, and 48 V/high-cell-count battery systems.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
