The Texas Instruments CC2541F256RHAR is a 2.4G Hz RF transceiver with an integrated 8051 microcontroller core, supplied in a 40-pin VQFN package. It operates in the 2.4-2.496G Hz band at up to 2Mbps with 8kB of RAM and FLASH program memory, drawing about 20.2mA in receive and 18.2mA in transmit.
The CC2541F256RHAR combines a low-power 2.4G Hz radio with an 8051 microcontroller, making it suited to short-range wireless connectivity applications such as wireless peripherals, remote controls, sensors, and health-and-fitness accessories. Embedded wireless designers use it to build single-chip Bluetooth low-energy-class nodes.
