The Diodes Inc. DRTR5V0U2SR-7 is a dual-channel unidirectional TVS diode array for ESD and power line protection, in a 4-pin SOT-143 package. It has a 5.5V reverse standoff voltage with a minimum breakdown of 6V, handles 5A peak pulse current and leaks no more than 100nA. The DRTR5V0U2SR-7 body measures 3mm by 1.4mm and stands 1mm high. It is specified from -65°C to 150°C, RoHS compliant and supplied on tape and reel in 3000-piece quantities.
Dual-channel arrays protect a pair of signal lines from one small package, which suits differential pairs and two-wire interfaces: USB data lines, audio and headset connectors, sensor inputs brought to a connector, and low-voltage control lines exposed to handling. A 5.5V standoff targets 5V and 3.3V rails and the signals referenced to them. Consumer, portable and automotive board designers buy these in reel volumes and place them immediately adjacent to the connector.
