The Monolithic Power Systems MP2145GD-Z is a synchronous step-down (buck) switching regulator in a 12-pin QFN package. It supports a 2.8V to 5.5V input and an adjustable output down to 600mV, delivering up to 6A of output current at a 1.2M Hz switching frequency.
The MP2145GD-Z is used to step down 5V-class rails to lower core, memory, or logic voltages in compact systems that need up to 6A. Its high switching frequency and small QFN package make it well suited to point-of-load regulation on densely populated boards designed by power-supply and hardware engineers.
