The Walsin Technologies WR04X1004FTL is a 1MΩ thick film chip resistor in an 0402 imperial (1005 metric) surface mount case with a 1% tolerance. It carries a 62.5mW power rating, a 50V DC voltage rating, and a 100ppm/°C temperature coefficient. The resistor measures 1mm long by 500µm wide with a 350µm height and uses SMD/SMT termination. WR04X1004FTL is lead free, RoHS compliant, rated for -55°C to 155°C operation, and supplied on tape and reel.
High-value resistors at 1MΩ are used for high-impedance biasing, bleeder and discharge paths across capacitors, leakage-setting networks, and very low current voltage dividers where minimal loading is required.
