The Micron MTFC16GAPALBH-IT is a 16 GB user-capacity managed NAND device built to the eMMC 5.1 standard, with an integrated flash controller that handles wear leveling, ECC, and bad-block management. It has an 8-bit data bus and 128 Gb of raw NAND density. The device ships in a 153-ball TFBGA package and is at end-of-life (EOL) status.
This eMMC device provides managed, non-volatile mass storage for operating systems, firmware, and application data in embedded systems such as industrial controllers, networking gear, IoT gateways, and consumer devices. The integrated controller offloads flash management from the host, simplifying design compared with raw NAND.
