The Intel GLQ170 SR2C5 is a Q170 desktop chipset from the Intel 100 Series, built for Skylake-generation processors in a 23mm square package. A chipset provides the platform input/output around a processor: storage, USB, networking and expansion connectivity that the CPU itself does not integrate. The GLQ170 SR2C5 supports up to 6 SATA 6Gb/s ports, 14 USB ports of which 10 are USB 3.0, two DIMMs per memory channel and PCI Express revision 3.0, with processor graphics port configurations of 1x16, 2x8 or 1x8 plus 2x4.
