The MCP1650-H001E30 is a 1m passive direct attach copper (DAC) cable from NVIDIA, branded Mellanox, with QSFP56 connectors on both ends. It carries 200GbE and Infini Band HDR traffic over 30AWG copper in a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket. Being passive, the MCP1650-H001E30 contains no active signal conditioning and draws no power, which is what keeps its latency and cost below optical alternatives at short reach. Minimum bend radius is 35.5mm and the cable is rated for 0°C to 70°C.
The MCP1650-H001E30 makes short in-rack and top-of-rack connections in HPC clusters and AI training fabrics running Infini Band HDR or 200 Gigabit Ethernet. At 1m it is intended for server-to-switch links within the same rack, or switch-to-switch links in adjacent units, where passive copper is preferred over optics for its zero power draw, lower latency and lower cost per port. The LSZH jacket meets data centre fire-safety cabling requirements. Buyers are typically HPC and AI infrastructure teams, data centre operators and systems integrators building Infini Band or high-speed Ethernet fabrics.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
