The San Disk SDINBDG4-8G-ZA is an 8 GB automotive-grade managed NAND device conforming to the e.MMC 5.1 specification, in a 153-ball FBGA package. It runs at up to 200 MHz from a 2.7 V to 3.6 V supply, with transfer speeds up to 300 MB/s and write speeds up to 28 MB/s, and carries C10 and U1 speed class ratings. The automotive series rating extends operation from -40 C to +105 C. Parts are supplied in bulk in quantities of 152.
Automotive-grade eMMC is used where managed flash must survive the vehicle temperature and vibration environment and meet long production-lifecycle and change-control expectations. At 8 GB it typically holds a boot loader, firmware, map or configuration data, and event logs rather than a large media partition. Typical users include automotive tier-one suppliers building telematics control units, gateways, instrument clusters, ADAS modules, and infotainment subsystems, plus designers of industrial and transport equipment that needs the wider temperature grade. The 153-ball FBGA footprint matches the standard eMMC package for second-sourcing.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
