The Vicor PI3740-00-LGIZ is a switching Voltage Regulator using a buck-boost topology with a single output, operating from an input of 8V to 60V at a 1M Hz switching frequency. Because it is buck-boost rather than buck only, the output voltage can be set above or below the input, which lets the regulator hold regulation through a wide input excursion.
