The Diodes Inc. BAV99 is a dual (two-element) silicon switching/rectifier diode in a 3-pin SOT-23 package. It is rated for a 70V repetitive reverse voltage (75V breakdown) and 200mA average rectified current, with a 715mV forward voltage and a fast 4ns reverse-recovery time.
Dual small-signal switching diodes like the BAV99 are used for signal switching, clamping, steering, and general rectification in low-power circuits. The two diodes in one SOT-23 save board space in high-density designs. It is ubiquitous across consumer, industrial, and computing boards.
