The Sony IMX335LQN-G is a CMOS solid-state image sensor with a square pixel array for colour cameras, using a Type 1/2.8 optical format with a 6.52mm diagonal. It provides 2616 by 1964 effective pixels for a 5.314MP resolution on a 2µm pixel pitch, reads out at 60fps through a MIPI CSI-2 interface, and uses a rolling shutter. The IMX335LQN-G is supplied in an 88-ball BGA package.
CMOS image sensors in the 5MP Type 1/2.8 class are the standard imaging front end for network and security cameras, where the sensor format matches widely available S-mount and CS-mount lenses.
