The Texas Instruments HDC3022DEJR is a digital relative-humidity and temperature sensor with 0.5% RH accuracy and an integrated permanent IP67-rated filter over the sensing element. The filter is what allows the part to be used in dusty, splash-exposed, or washdown environments without a separate protective membrane. The sensor communicates over I2C, runs from 1.62V to 5.5V, and is rated from -40C to +125C in an 8-pin WSON package measuring 2.5mm by 2.5mm with a 1.25mm height. TI lists the device as Active and in Production.

IP67-filtered humidity sensors are specified where the sensing element is exposed to the environment it measures: HVAC and building automation, cold-chain and refrigeration monitoring, outdoor weather and agricultural stations, white goods such as washers and dryers, and industrial process and enclosure monitoring.
