Nexperia's BAS321-QX is a single-phase, single-element silicon rectifier diode housed in a compact SOD-323 surface-mount package. It carries an average rectified current rating of 250 mA and a junction capacitance of 2 pF, and it is qualified for operation to a maximum of 150C. The BAS321-QX is RoHS compliant and delivered on tape and reel in 3, 000-piece quantities.
The BAS321-QX is specified for general-purpose signal rectification, blocking and freewheeling duty at currents up to its 250 mA average rectified rating. Low junction capacitance keeps charge-storage effects small, so the part is also used in signal steering and level-shifting networks where a bulkier rectifier would load the node. The SOD-323 outline is chosen where board area is constrained, for example in handheld equipment, sensor modules and communications line cards. Design engineers and contract manufacturers building high-density assemblies are the usual specifiers.
Fusion’s in-house quality hubs and Prosemi testing facility are fully certified to meet critical industry standards for electronic component inspection and testing.
