The NVIDIA MMS4A20-XM800 is a Mellanox-branded single port optical transceiver module supporting 800Gb/s over an OSFP interface in a DR4 single mode parallel configuration. It uses an MPO APC connector at a 1310nm wavelength over single mode fiber for reach up to 500m. The module runs from a 3.3V supply, with a 3.135V to 3.465V supply range and 18W power dissipation, and is rated for 0°C to 70°C operation. This transceiver provides 800G optical connectivity for AI training fabrics, high performance computing interconnect, and data center switch-to-switch links. The DR4 parallel single mode design supports both point-to-point 800G links and 4x200G breakout topologies over structured MPO fiber plant at distances up to 500m. Hyperscale operators, AI infrastructure builders, and network integrators deploy modules at this rate between spine and leaf switches and into GPU compute racks.
